Schools is a way of splitting up spells and powers into different categories. The school defines how the powers requires are drawn forth.View Count: 193 For example to cast a spell or power of the Necromancy school you would need the powers of the Negative Energy Plane. A normal Arcane user would get this power through the Acheron Stones, while a Divine user would receive the requires power from his God or Godess. Only a specialized magic user would actually be drawing some of his powers directly from these special forces, such as Dor'Shadar, or Xiemenéz. Specialized characters in the area of Necromancy would most probably draw this power from Dor'Shadar instead. |
