This is a list of exotic magical components, and perhaps a price tag.View Count: 330 Lich Dust Very exotic, and not east to come by, you might be able to figure out why. :-) If you happen to come by the very very rare Demilich Dust, you are both a very rich and a very hunted man. If you come by someone selling Lich Dust it would most probably cost you 30.000 gp to buy. The horn from a Unicorn In folklore this is most often the most exotic object, but in real life, its not such a very big deal. In some places you can get the horn for 10.000 gp. Demon heart The heart of a demon is a powerful component in some spells and rituals. There are different levels of power here, the heart from a demon lord is much more valued that just a normal demon. The price varies depending on demon type. A normal demon heart might be tagged for 5.000 hp. While the heart from a real demon, or demon lord or prince, could be anywhere between 40.000 to 200.000 gp. Tears from a Angel Not easy to get by, unless you happen to be friend with an Angel . Once an Angel knows about a ritual (evil) where the tears from another Angel was a key-component, there will be a hunting! In some holy markets you can actually buy tears from an angel. Might be as low as 1.000 gp per bottle. The low price tag is because the bottles are all meant for priests, paladins and other holy warriors to destroy evil. Umbilical cord This one is quite common... and useless truth be told. Some beginner mages think this one is a real source of power, but they are quite wrong. It does confer some powers, but its very minimal. You can get this one for a few hundred gold or even less in some places. Good luck buying this one! If you come across one, get rid off it before you get killed! You might be able to find someone selling a Bloodstone, but the price would be high, somewhere along 100.000+ gp. Good stuff! Depending on color, the price would range from 50.000 gp up to 1 million gp. Heart of a Dragon Not many dares carry around the heart of a dragon, they know that other dragons can feel the smell of dead dragon. And not many wants the attentions of the Dragons. Those who can stand up to them mostly use the hearts for their own reasons. Coming across one selling this one is not an easy task. Price would be somewhere along the lines of 300.000 gp. Dragon eyes The eyes of a Dragon, as hard to get as the heart, in a way, but still much cheaper. They are not as powerful. You could get a Dragons eye for perhaps 30.000 gp on the black market. ... . |
