War of the Demons

Roughly 7000 years after The Great War.View Count: 382 Year 3715 AE The Demon necromancer sorceror Draklth Mor has during the ages of war and slaughter become a powerful and fearless Demon in the devils plane. Darklth has spent half his life to find the artifact Chombodrin, a demon artifact from their first God, the Demonlord. With this artifact Darklth conquered large areas in the devils world, he even conquered larger cities thanks to the countless of Demons who follows him. At the large bloody war at Tol-Henoth (devils plane), where thousands of Demons and Devils fought for their lives, their right to exist, something happened. Draklth became gravely wounded by a great explosion, and died shortly after, with a burst of light! The Demons took care the artifact, Chombodrin, and hid it for a time when a new Demon leader would arise. Year 2472 AE Gotina Nashata, a powerful female sorcerer accidently found the Chombodrin. She succeeded in taking it with her to the Material Plane. The artifact was under the constant inspection by a few archmages. 3 months later, hell broke lose! Demons opened countless of portals to the Material Plane and swarms of angry Demons flooded the continent. The Demon hordes attacked larger cities and main buildings and always left the leaders alive, to tell the story. All the survivors got to know that if they returned the Chombodrin, the hordes would return back to the Abyss. The war lasted for 7 months, where millions of lives was spilled, each day. Powerful archmages, Paladins, farmers, many where they who died. Gotina protected the Chombodrin with her life, but was eventually killed and the artifact returned to the Abyss. Where it still rests, waiting for a new Demon leader. |
