The Four Elements of Origin are as follows; Air, Earh, Fire, and Water.View Count: 438 Alchemists belives that all matter was made up of earth, fire, water, and air. The symbol of water flows down like water; the symbol fire rises up like flames. The symbol of earth are straight horizontal lines; the symbol of air flows up like air. Amongst knowledgeable wizards there have been heated discussions in what order they come in. Anyone who knows enough about the Four Elements of Origin knows that there should be an order to them. Not many knows the truth of this order. Some say that Earth comes first, to symbolize the creation of a planet. Then comes Air. Along with air comes storms and lightning and heavy rain, which over millennia created seas of Water. And last comes Fire, for warmth and life. Others say that Fire should be first, as for the creation of a planet, then Earth. And then Air and Water. Even here some are in for a heated discussion. Some say that Air should come first, to rain down the Water. But that would also prove that Air is superior to Water, and must have spawned it, as they call it. Whatever it is, the Four Elements of Origin have from time to time aroused to very heated discussions, even blood feuds. All wizards, clerics, and sorcerers are clear on one thing. They can be a very dangerous thing to play with. The Four Elements of Origin can be used by mages to strengthen their spells. One could for example use the Element of Earth to add strength and robustness to their magical wall or any magical defense. One would use Element of Air to decrease its weigth and heigthen its avarness of its surrounding, as an example. Element of Fire could add warmth, or even life to some magical spells. And last, Element of Water for wisdom and soul. Or for the worse, its life draining capability.
